First released exclusively in Hawaii in 1978, the Tailwind 79 OG Grey Blue is the first shoe ever to feature an Air unit. Although it�s not as well known as other classics, such as the Cortez, it�s still regarded as one of the most important shoes in Nike�s history. Revived in its OG colourway, the Tailwind 79 OG Grey Blue is crafted from mesh and suede. A vintage cut foam tongue and thin laces provide more classic contrast, and the shoe is rounded off with clean white midsole and black waffle outsole.
