The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 17 Retro starts with a Cool Grey suede upper, one of the most popular colors in the line’s history. Hits of metallic gold and black give the retro somewhat of a luxury look and celebrates the shop’s general championship aesthetic. At the time of the silhouette’s original release in 2002, the 17 was hailed as a technically advanced performance shoe, featuring Jordan’s first Blow-Molded Air system, a full-length composite shank plate, and TPU heel stabilizer. Those features are packed into a grey suede build, which extends to the removable midfoot cover that conceals the black laces underneath. More black appears on the midsole, lining, and tongue, while the heel counter is coated in metallic gold, enhancing the shoe’s luxury aesthetic.
