The famed silhouette was designed by Tinker Hatfield and introduced the ankle hologram inspired by the eyes of a panther. The signature midsole unit also takes on animalistic inspiration as it was modeled after the shape of a panther’s paw.
In 2004, when Timbs were at the peak of their popularity, it made sense for Jordan Brand to interpolate their own iteration of streetwear’s must-have footwear at the time. You can see the boot’s influence on the base layer of this Air Jordan 13, which incorporates a 6″ Boot-like suede in “Wheat.”
This shoes in a White and Wheat color scheme. This offering of the Air Jordan 13 will look exactly like its original release featuring a White leather upper with Wheat suede overlays. Its signature hologram on the ankle atop a White midsole and Wheat rubber outsole completes the design. The sneaker sits atop a White Zoom Air midsole unit with a herringbone underfoot. Other notable details include a “Wheat” Jumpman on the tongue and a Jade-like panther’s eye.
